British Bodyshop Awards 2022

After ten years in London - 8 years at the Battersea Evolution and 2 years at the InterContinental London The O2 - we have made the decision to move BBA - the biggest bodyshop awards ceremony in the world - to to a new venue for us, the wonderful Manchester Central (formerly GMEX) with its huge wrought-iron arched roof, spanning 210 feet.

Our celebrity host at BBA 2022 will be Alex Jones, well known to you all as the Welsh presenter on the BBC One magazine programme The One Show for the last 12 years.

BBA will be a unique evening of fun and celebration with an after-dinner array of fairground rides inside the venue including dodgems, Wave Swinger, helter skelter, Avalanche and the high striker.

After the rides close we have a late-night bar open until 4am.

To join us at BBA 2022 at Manchester Central on Thursday 19 May, please go to the booking section of this website or contact fiona@abpclub.com; tickets are from £330 each.

The British Bodyshop Awards are designed to allow insurers, vehicle manufacturers and accident management companies to publicly recognise, on a national stage, the great work done for them by the bodyshops within their approved networks.

This year we have a record 20 insurers, vehicle manufacturers and accident management companies presenting 45 awards in recognition of excellence and customer service to the bodyshops and individuals within their approved networks.

All the finalists for the awards will be announced on 20 April.

We are delighted that PPG, our Headline Partner since 2012 when we held the very first ABP British Bodyshop Awards, is continuing its support, with Richard Goode, their new Automotive Refinish Director, UK & Ireland, joining us for the first time.

As well as thanks to PPG we would also like to say a huge thank you to our ten fantastic Diamond Partners:

  • 3M

  • Audatex
